Our mission is to create an immersive tea experience combining the art of tea growing and tea making with meaningful community interactions. We keep complicating things aside. Our approach is simple – authentic and all heart. Without any gimmicks or adulterations.

We want to show to the world that you can create a sustainable business leveraging an honest product while supporting your local community. Because together we can achieve so much!

Over the next few years we hope to see our ways of working replicated all over the island helping Ceylon Tea reach it’s true potential in the world market. We are experimenting at ways to deliver more personalised experiences through Nandana Tea Labs for tea enthusiasts and connoisseurs the world over. We also hope to enable more female leadership in the tea industry and continue to uplift our communities through our Ladalu Mahimaya initiatives.

Our programs and initiatives support our local community and use sustainability practices passed on to us by our ancestors to preserve, rehabilitate and regenerate the biodiversity around us. We encourage our visitors to volunteer and engage with the community in such a way that does not involve intrusion or cultural/socio-economic exploitation.
